There is no feeling in the world that is comparable to that of holding your precious little one for the first time, so precious and so soft.

Did you know that your infant’s epidermis is still being constructed up until around the age of 3 years old? Until then it is much thinner and more sensitive, and therefore requires special newborn baby skin care.

Newborn baby skin care is so important starting day one, from their precious little nose to the tips of their tiny toes.

While there are many great newborn baby skin care products available on the market today, 2 of our favourites are Johnsons™ and Mustela™.

Johnsons™ has been around for generations and has been and continues to be trusted by mothers around the world! They have a wide variety of newborn baby skin care products including scented powders, soothing oils, sleepy time lotions and tear free shampoos!

Newborn baby acne skin care: Acne is common among infants and is generally a result of hormones, which they receive from the mother at the end of the pregnancy. If your little one develops blackheads or whiteheads, don’t stress. Just simply wash their face once daily with a mild soap and warm water.

Be sure not to over wash, scrub or apply any creams or oils. The acne will generally sort it self out within a few weeks but can sometimes last up to a few months. If it doesn’t clear up after 3 months you should contact your pediatrician for more advice on newborn baby acne skin care.

Although parenting can be challenging in many ways, your newborn baby’s skin care routine can be simple. Congratulations on being a parent and we hope you love these newborn baby skin care products as much as we do!
